This episode was kinda sad tbh . And bruh no way those kids are 8 years old , they are spittin poetry . At that age , I thought babies came from kissing .

Beherzt • 2 years ago

Well at that age, they could already make an origami crane by transmuting paper. Trisha even mentioned that they were geniuses, and seeing as how some adult alchemists could only transmute basic things, I'd say Trisha wasn't just praising her sons.

More like wisdom than poetry, I myself was awed by Ed's answer for " one is all and all is one". For me Ed's philosophy was really convincing and sort of eye opening I guess.

Sometimes I find myself asking questions like ," Infront of this infinitely, indefinitely huge universe we are just small insignificant Beings so why do we exist, why do we work hard to survive, why do we have to struggle when we are so insignificant ?" Questions like this hit me out of nowhere now and then.

Thus today , I kind of got my answer even though it is kind of vague .

so Ants are sour? Now i dont need eat one to know the taste

Arashi • 2 years ago

Haven't eaten an ant but i'm assuming the reason they're sour is because their stings are a weak poison. I might be wrong here but i think a lot of poisons, at least the more natural ones found in scorpions, snakes, bees, wasps, ants etc. made up of chemicals that when mixed will give a sour taste if ingested.

Obviously Fact • 1 year ago

Ant sting contains Formic Acid, Acids are sour in taste, ex: Citrus fruits like lemons and orangea also contain citric acids and are sour

munch • 1 year ago

hey your local idiot here, i can also confirm thorough my personal experience that they are indeed sour °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

YOSHIDA MAN • 1 year ago

In my case , I ate them with honey so really couldn't distinguish their taste.😏😏😏😌

Porthya • 2 years ago

If I'm not mistaken, their taste is also described as sour in a Theodore Sturgeon novel, The Dreaming Jewels. Idk if any of these writers tasted them, but they must've learned from somewhere.😂

I really like Izumi & her husband. The poor guys had to survive on an island on their own. Hihi the Circle of life just like in the Lion King, it is what Ed tells his younger brother. Poor Izumi, I know what happend (I have watched the older show) it is just to sad.

panos • 1 year ago

The Original Is Better & Was Way Deeper & More Intense Than This One, Still...
It Is A Beautiful Episode Nonetheless, More People Need To Realize This Amazing Answer

Izumi-San Is So OP Despite Her Illness... Imagine If She Was Not Ill & Travelled Around The World... Her Love For Her Husband & The Brothers... That's A Real Woman

Just wanna say, if you were saying about og then this is the real og because it followed the manga meanwhile the 2003 one strayed fom the real plotline and could not catch up with the storyline thats why they made a whole new anime; brotherhood. These arcs which were the same as 2003 one migh feel rushed and emotionless but the upcoming arcs that the manga had but the older anime hadn’t ill be much much deeper, and i gseriously thought the ending is perfect. Really the first one aired in my country when I was about 2 or 3 years old but i remembered the island arc of the older version the most so yeah i grew up with fma actually. But then what a toddler like me back then could understand about alchemy, military and the deep storyline so when i got older 5-7 years ago the animelist recoomment fma and I rewatched the older fma then watched brotherhood, i think i like this one better. The upcoming stories are really good and the ending is chef kiss

CienFleur • 10 months ago

Awwwh... Since 5-7 Years Old :D That's Adorable
I Saw Both Of Em And I Gotta Say That Both Were Filled With Many Wonderful Moments And Powerful Emotions, The Old One Felt More... I Don't Know How To Put It Exactly But... Old Anime Shows Has A Certain Magic To Them :D

Davy438 • 10 months ago

Yeah, the original did focus more on character depth tbh and took more time with certaina arcs

CienFleur • 10 months ago

I Finished Both And I Have To Say...

That While The Original Had It's Magical Charm With It Being Old And From The Previous Generation And All...

The New One Had More Events And Added A Lot To The Plot Which Was Amazing And We Got To See More So...

It's A Win-Win Depending On The Viewer's Perception And Preferences :D

I can relate to ed/al when their master shout then they freak out because when my father talk in loud voice I also freak out.

load • 1 year ago

By the way, you can see both his master and her husband in the episode where winry arrives at the capital walking behind her at the train station

ihavenolife • 2 years ago

well pretty obvious she saw the "truth" due to doing something but still tragic

iCan'tDecideMyFavAnime • 2 years ago

okay I've got 2 things, this episode was a plot twist itself
first I thought their master would be the husband xD and when I thought I finally caught upto it, it was revealed that their master also commited taboo damn, it's sad
Edward really seems to despise his father, and it's understandable
I think his father is one of the guys aiming for that "Grand plan"

Porthya • 2 years ago

But they've had a flashback of their training days in one of the early episodes, and, even though it was very brief, they clearly showed their master, from the front even, so you couldn't miss her gender.

iCan'tDecideMyFavAnime • 2 years ago

then I just forgot xD since the bulky guy was the one who opened the door and they were terrified lol

Porthya • 2 years ago

Okay, understandable XD
